Terms and Conditions

When booking or using the services of Clean Riders you confirm acceptance of our terms and conditions. These will provide you with the best possible service and inform you how we operate.

  1. How often we visit you

Visits will usually be on either a 4-, 6- or 12-weekly basis (minimum of 3 cleans) throughout the year. Alternative arrangements can be made if circumstances dictate. We do however ask for some flexibility from time to time on these schedules as sometimes where circumstances are beyond our control, such as extreme weather, operator holidays / Bank Holidays etc, an alternative date will be required, but we will advise you.

We do not offer a regular window cleaning service by appointment; we cannot agree to only clean your windows on set days or times due to no access to parts of your property.

  1. What can I expect?

The Pure Water Cleaning System we use is very effective at cleaning general dirt from your windows. If however you have builder’s residue (e.g., plaster, concrete and paint etc.) stickers or adhesive, staining/discolouration on the windows or frames from chemicals or rust or from UV bleaching of the frames we would ask you to please notify us before we visit as the Pure Water Cleaning System will not be effective at removing these. Please notify us before we arrive for the clean.

  1. Weather Conditions

Whilst we would prefer not to clean windows in heavy rain, we can assure you that the Pure Water Cleaning System works extremely well in most weather conditions. The quality of your window clean will not be affected by rain or poor weather conditions and the system will leave a special coating on the glass which extends the time they stay clean. If weather conditions are too extreme and we feel that there will either be a health and safety risk or a less than excellent clean we will aim to revisit at the next available mutually convenient time.

  1. Turning us away

We try to provide a reliable service; we make space and time in our schedule for this. Cancelling a service on the day of the clean incurs a £15 short notice cancellation charge.
Sometimes it will be easier just to skip a clean and then pick up again at the next booked time.

  1. Safe access to your property

Should there be any reason we be unable to access any part of your property we will only clean the accessible areas. We might not be able to return to clean the inaccessible areas until the next scheduled clean. Whilst we will endeavour to clean all agreed areas if we deem any to be inaccessible or unsafe to clean, we will not clean them.

Our insurance does not allow us to move obstacles such as but not exclusive to: flowerpots, garden furniture etc. If these or any other items restrict access to an area of your property, we will be unable to clean it.

  1. Complains procedure

We pride ourselves on providing you with the best possible service and clean. If for any reason you are not satisfied with our work you must contact us within 24 hours of the clean. We will then return to discuss and re-clean if required free of charge. Please note that complaints received outside of this 24-hour zone may not be re- cleaned. Please note we operate a no refund policy. We will rectify work you are not happy with free of charge provided we are informed within the timescale mentioned above.

  1. Payments

Payment can be made by either GoCardless, Credit/Debit Card or Cash. Regretfully BACS payments are only available for sums in excess of £80.00.

  1. Confidentiality

All customer information is kept confidential and is not discussed or shared with any individual or company as required under the Data Protection Act.

Hopefully the above will answer any questions you may have, but if not, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss further.
